border(line) disorder – Art Research Project in Sarajevo is an audiovisual art installation by Joanna Zielińska-Öktem exploring the relationship between art and border studies, collective memory and Sarajevo’s urban space. Combining site-specific video, archival materials and personal testimonies, the project examines the ethnic divisions shaped by the 1995 Bosnia Peace Agreement and their lasting impact on post-war identities and contested urban landscapes. Drawing on performance studies and urban sociology, it investigates how borders shape space, memory and everyday life in Bosnia and Herzegovina.
